New York New York 1987

Student project shooting 40 rolls of film in 4 days.

Using a 35 mm camera loaded with high speed Black & White film most images are shot "from the hip".

I taped my lens aperture and focus to capture images from 2 ft. and beyond and corrected exposure with notes on film when processing.

I included Delancey Crew, one of the few composed shots, as it illustrates the fun had at my expense by Junior and the boys as I crossed the street in full urban gear. My attempt to fit in as a true New Yorker by donning all black attire with oversized parka and watchman's cap proved to be a good laugh.
